“There came a time when the risk to remain tight as a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

WHAT (Philosophy & Modalities)

Individual therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about finding you. You are the expert in your life, carrying your history, wisdom, and questions. Life weaves us into social, emotional, and behavioral knots that shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. These knots can become so tight and familiar that it’s hard to tell where they end and we begin. Our work is to gently, playfully, and courageously untangle these knots so you can live more fully as your unique self.

We do this through a collaborative relationship. I don’t tell you what to do or hand out advice. My job is to wonder about you, with you.

Treatment with me is relational, playful, curious, embodied, and mutual. I invite creative, embodied therapies like Developmental Transformations (DvT)* and Sandtray. DvT, a form of drama therapy, uses improvisation, role-play, and movement to explore and transform cognitive and bodily aspects of traumatic or challenging experiences. Sandtray offers a nonverbal, symbolic way to access and process unconscious material, creating a contained space to explore inner conflicts and heal tender or shame-filled places. These approaches support self-discovery, integration, and transformation, allowing deeper parts of you to surface, tell their story, be heard/witnessed/valued, in order to unravel old patterns and move towards a more spacious, authentic relationship with yourself and others.

*I am currently a trainee with DvT PDX training institute.
